Since we are living in a broadband-time, there are still many areas were there is no regular broadband connection (DSL) available. As a pioneer on the sector of the satellite communication services we are presenting you with our "Internet via Satellite" products a suggestive alternative to the regular DSL. With our "Internet via Satellite" products we are only referring to a 2-way Satellite communication service. This means that the satellite can send and receive data, there for you do not need an additional fixed line or internet connection. The only thing you will need is satellite equipment which includes an receiving and sending KU-Band out door unit (the dish size is related on position from the location of instalment) and a satellite modem from the company ViaSat. A exception is only in Spain & Croatia were you will be needing an KA-Band satellite equipment. For the transmission of data we are mainly using the satellites Atlantic Bird 1, W3A, W6 and Eurobird 3 of the satellite operator Eutelsat, we can also provide different satellite beams. The first three named satellites are used for our sat_speed.Pro system. The satellite Eurobird 3 is being used for our sat_speed+ system, which you are using Hot Bird 6 in Spain & Croatia. The data transmission is being made in the KU-Band the only exception is the satspeed+ Spain & Croatia system. With the sat_speed.Pro products we are using a technique provided from our side. We have developed a platform which is located in the uplinkcenter at a subsidiary of the satellite company Eutelsat located in Torino. The sat_speed+ products are based on the technology from Tooway™ which is optimized from our side.
